What's underneath the cloths? THIS.
Story: stupid me thought it was a great idea to make cookies for my friends and family (10 in total) for Christmas.
Day 2 of 4.
Types of doughs: sable paste, linzer (not really linzer) dough, and graham ginger.
Plan: Was supposed to make sable, linzer, graham ginger and sugar cookies. Sable paste were fluted circles and heart shapes, graham ginger was supposed to be small circles, linzer were fluted circles and plain circles. Each box was supposed to have 20 sables, 20 linzers, 10 graham ginger and 10 sugar cookies. I know it's a lot but they were supposed to be tiny and one-bite size.
What actually happened: well, certainly not what I had planned LOL. A lot of mishaps and miscalculations along the way -_-. And sugar cookies definitely didn't make it -_-.
How many: oh god. Um, sable paste, about... 300-400 or so pieces. Linzer about a good 400-500 pieces, graham ginger between 180-188 pieces.
Graham ginger cookies: I made those on Day 2. Since I used the smallest cutter on Day 1, I forgot it was drying on the rack so I ended up using the second smallest cutter from my pile and near the end cutting them realized that I was using the wrong cutter... so I was a few short -_-.
Production (c) TsuKaza90 (+ friend for half an hour)
Time: too fricken long.
Day 1: sable paste. Stayed up till 4AM baking those -_- about 7 hours.
Day 2: ginger and linzer. Stayed up till 2AM baking those with work at 8AM. About 5-6 hours
Day 3: jellies and jams.
Day 4: assembling. 4hrs.
