21st Birthday 21 Presents

This was a birthday gift to a friend of mine. I asked her whether she wanted a cake or cupcakes and she asked for cupcakes.

I think a third of it are cupcakes while the rest are cakes LOL.

Anyway, the rectangles were made from these mini banana loaf pans and thought they'd be great for rectangle-size presents.

I really need to stop decorating on the last day / on the day of. Then I would have known I needed more fondant. Because of that, each of them are thinly wrapped -_-. I also ran out of them, which explains the brown / caramel coloured presents (they're actually caramel wrap for caramel apples LOL -shot-).

The lemon cake turned out really moist =3 It's the same lemon cake recipe for the rose wedding cake design I used in class. Yum yum =].

And the tiny fondant bows are so adorable They measure 1" x 1". Tiny little suckers -_-.

The writing was supposed to be in green but last year it was pretty light so I added more colour, but it's so dark that it's almost black ._. ...

Anyway, lesson learned. Always room for improvement <3
